Researcher in Biostatistics at the Oslo Centre for Biostatistics and Epidemiology (Norway)

The Oslo University Hospital (OUS), in partnership with the University of Oslo (UiO), is seeking an outstanding, inspiring and enthusiastic candidate for a 100% permanent position as Researcher (corresponding to associate professor level) at the Oslo Centre for Biostatistics and Epidemiology (OCBE).

Deadline for the application: December 21, 2018

We are seeking a biostatistician with competence and interest in one of these topics:
Statistical methods for clinical trials
Statistical methods for genomics and molecular biological data
Methods for epidemiological research

In addition, we welcome applications from candidates not working in these prioritized fields, but given equal merits, applicants working in these prioritized themes of research will be preferred.

This is an opportunity to join one of Europe's most active biostatistics groups at an exciting time. Currently, OCBE includes five tenured professors, five associate professors, fifteen researchers, and several post-doctoral fellows and PhD students, making up a group of about 50. OCBE is internationally recognized, with interests spanning a broad range of areas (including time-to-event models, data integration, causal inference, statistical genomics, Bayesian inference, informative missingness and measurement error models, epidemiological studies of lifestyle and chronic diseases, stochastic models for infectious diseases, high dimensional data and models, clinical trials, register based studies). OCBE collaborates with numerous leading bio-medical research groups nationally and internationally.
