Chair of Probability Theory offers a position as
Research Associate/PhD-Student
starting December 1, 2026. The The position comprises 75 % of the fulltime weekly hours and is limited to three years.
The successful candidate will conduct research on a topic of on stochastic processes with jumps (Lévy processes, Feller processes), non-local operators and semigroups in probability theory. The position aims at obtaining further academic qualification (usually PhD).
Requirements are an above-average university degree in mathematics with a focus on stochastics and functional analysis.
