The SFB 1294 "Data Assimilation" at the University of Potsdam invites
applications for a postdoctoral researcher position.

Topic: Rigorous Bayesian inference and uncertainty quantification for
nonlinear statistical inverse problems in clinical pharmacology

Employment Type: full time (100%) TV-L E 13 salary grade
Gross salary: approximately 4000 Euros per month
Net salary: depends on marital/family status and other factors

Minimum requirements:
-Ph.D. in mathematics or mathematical statistics
-Good knowledge of mathematical analysis, including functional
analysis and measure-theoretic probability, and mathematical
-Good communication skills in English
-Strong ability to work effectively, both independently and in a team
-Experience in scientific computing
-Interest in mathematical analysis and statistical inverse problems

Preference will be given to applicants with experience in statistical
inverse problems or Bayesian nonparametric inference.
