Dear colleagues and friends,

the Institute of Mathematical Stochastics at TU Dresden invites
applications for a 3-year PostDoc position (extension possible) to be
filled as soon as possible. The position is within the German AI
competence center ScaDS.AI Dresden/Leipzig (Center for Scalable Data
Analytics and Artificial Intelligence).

The successful candidate will conduct research in the area of AI, but
with a good deal of probability and stochastic processes.

Requirements are a very good university degree in mathematics; a PhD in
mathematics or computer science; a strong scientific background in at
least one of the following areas: theory of AI, applications of AI in
the sciences, statistics of stochastic processes, theory of stochastic
processes; the ability and willingness for interdisciplinary
cooperation; very good command of written and spoken English.
