Postdoc in Tuebingen

The research group for the Theory of Machine Learning, headed by Ulrike
von Luxburg, is looking for a Postdoc in the field of statistical
learning theory. The current research focus of our group is the
theoretical analysis of algorithms on random graphs and networks and the
framework of comparison-based machine learning.

The postdoc position is full time (100%) on the German pay scale E13. It
would be for 2-3 years, with potential extension. A successful postdoc
candidate should have a PhD degree with focus in machine learning
theory, theoretical computer science, statistics, or related areas.
He/she should have established a strong publication record. The
starting date for the position is flexible, ideal would be fall 2019.

Tübingen is among the leading machine learning places in Europe, with a
vibrant research environment in machine learning both at the University
of Tuebingen and the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems.
