We are looking for a post-doc (100 % for one year with possible extension) in Freiburg in the group of Thorsten Schmidt. The goal is to work at the intersection of risk management and ML-techniques. Profound knowledge in at least one of the fields is required. Freiburg is a vivid university with lots of activities in probability and machine learning. The position will be placed in the excelleny initiative Adaptive Futures (see uni-freiburg.de/universitaet/themen-im-fokus/exzellenzstrategie) with close links to the CRC Small Data and the Carl-Zeiss funded research project ReScale.
