PhD student or Postdoc in DFG project at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin
The Chair of Statistics (Prof. Dr. Sonja Greven) at the
Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin is looking for a
Research fellow (m/f/d) with expected 75 % employment - E 13 TV-L HU
(third party funding limited to 3 years)
within the project 'Flexible density regression methods' funded by the
German Research Foundation.
The position is limited to three years. There is the possibility to do a
PhD. Postdoctoral researchers can be employed at 100 % for 2 years.

Job description:
- Scientific research in the third-party funded project 'Flexible density regression methods'
- Assignments for the own scientific qualification (PhD)
- Completed academic degree in statistics, mathematics or a related field with statistical methodological focus
- interest in the development of statistical methods as well as in interdisciplinary cooperation
- good communication skills
- very good command of written and spoken English
- programming experience (preferably in the statistical software package R)
