PhD position for working at the interection of sequential learning and
inverse problems, in the beautiful city of Potsdam, just 30mn away from
Berlin. This PhD will be in the setting of the project "Mathematical
Statistics in the Information Age: Statistical efficiency and
computational tractability"

Academic Staff Member, Requisition No.: 404/2021

The position is available from February 01, 2022. The salary is
determined by the collective bargaining agreement for public employees
in Germany (TV-L 13). The position is for 30 hours per week (75% of a
full-time contract) and funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft,
project "Mathematical Statistics in the Information Age - Statistical
Efficiency and Computational Tractability". This is a temporary position
limited to a term of 4 years in accordance with Section 2 subsection 1
of the Fixed-Term Employment Contracts in Science and Research Act
