PhD Position - Mathematical Statistics at TUM
The research group for Mathematical Statistics in the Department of Mathematics at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) invites applications for a
Ph.D. position (75%, 3 years).
The successful candidate will be supervised by Prof. Mathias Drton (email@example.com) and conduct research on graphical models and causal discovery. Responsibilities include participation in teaching. The position is for three years at 75% time with a flexible starting date. A competitive salary and benefits are paid in accordance with the public service wage agreement of the Free State of Bavaria (TV-L E 13).
- Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- Strong mathematical preparation and interest in Statistics
- Good computational skills
- Fluency in English
