The contract runs for a period of 3 years (75% TV-L E13). The earliest starting date is 1st April 2024.

The successful candidate has expertise of at least one of the following areas with the interest to acquire expertise in the others:
  • asymptotic statistics,
  • Bayesian statistics,
  • statistics on non-Euclidean spaces,
  • differential geometry.

Especially, previous experience in Bayesian asymptotic theory is highly desirable.

Basic knowledge of numerical methods and standard programming environments (e.g. python, GNU R), is desirable. Prior experience in the implementation of Markov Chain Monte Carlo algorithms is useful.
