PhD position (up to 4 years) in Applied Statistics/Biostatistics at the Institute of Statistics, JKU Linz, Austria

We are looking for well motivated candidates to pursue a Ph.D. in Applied Statistics.

The successful candidate is expected to conduct high-quality research in research areas of the group (in particular biostatistical modeling and inference) leading to peer-reviewed articles and a PhD dissertation.

The contract is for a period of up to 4 years. The earliest starting date is in November 2023, or by mutual agreement.

• Copies of academic credentials including list of courses taken and grades (with translation if not in English or German),
• Contact information of 1-2 referees or reference letters
