The Institute of Mathematics at University of Mannheim has an opening
for a
PhD position (m/f/d) 0.75 E 13 TV-L BW (starting around January 1st 2024)
The ideal candidate has completed or is nearing completion of their Master's in Mathematics or related field with interest to participate in the teaching and research field of the chair, including high performance computing, machine learning, extreme values, spatial statistics and the intersection between algebra and statistics (see https://www.wim.uni-mannheim.de/schlather).
