The Faculty of Mathematics at the Ruhr-University Bochum has an opening
for
a PhD position
starting April 1st 2024 or earlier.
The prerequisite for this appointment is a diploma or master degree in mathematics. The chair offers a wide research field in the area of stochastics with relations to geometry and combinatorics (see https://www.ruhr-uni-bochum.de/ffm/Lehrstuehle/Thaele/index.html).
The participation in ongoing research projects is expected. The opportunity for further qualification (PhD) is offered.
