Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Statistics at Loughborough University
Loughborough University is looking for a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer
in the area of Statistics on an open-ended contract.
The successful candidate will join the Statistics research group, which has a a fast-growing research portfolio. Current expertise is in Bayesian statistical modelling, computational statistics, data science, machine learning, statistical image analysis, predictive modelling, and uncertainty quantification in engineering. The group enjoys cross-campus links with current collaborations in Computer Science, Sport & Exercise Science and Engineering, and has a track-record in securing funding from industry stakeholders.
The Department of Mathematical Sciences is a Top-15 Department in the UK for Mathematics, with high levels of student satisfaction reported in the National Student Survey and 100% of research impact rated `world-leading' or `internationally excellent' in the most recent nationwide Research Assessment Framework exercise.
