Junior Professorship (tenure-track) "Probabilistic Methods in Machine Learning"
BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg is opening a Junior Professorship (W1, with
tenure-track to W3) in "Probabilistic Methods in Machine Learning".
Possible research focus areas include stochastic simulation and
approximation methods (for example, Markov Chain Monte Carlo,
interacting particle systems, PINNs) or stochastic optimization (e. g.,
stochastic gradient methods for high-dimensional neural networks,
reinforcement learning, variational inference).
