ICS CAS Prague: Tenure-track research positions
There are two tenure-track positions open at the Institute of Computer
Science of the Czech Academy of Sciences (ICS CAS):
Tenure‐track position in Computer Science and related areas (including statistics):
https://www.cs.cas.cz/job-offer/Tenure-Track-Position-Computer-Science/en
Tenure‐track position in Artificial Intelligence in its broadest sense:
https://www.cs.cas.cz/job-offer/Tenure-Track-Position-Artificial-Intelligenc...
The closing date of both calls is November 20.
The ICS CAS is searching for high-quality researchers holding a Ph.D. degree in a related field, with an excellent research record relative to their career stage, showing the potential to build an independent research group and acquire research funding.
At the Department of Statistical Modelling, we are searching for new team members who will shape the research in the areas of statistical model development, mathematical statistics, computational statistics, and overlap of statistics and machine learning or artificial intelligence. We are particularly interested in interdisciplinary research; in the past, we hosted the annual conference of the International Society for Clinical Biostatistics, and we will be hosting the International Meeting of the Psychometric Society in Prague in the summer of 2024.
Please forward this message to prospective applicants who may be interested in these two positions. Informal inquiries may be sent to Patrícia Martinková, martinkova@cs.cas.cz.
