Assistant Professor in Statistics at TU Delft

Delft Institute of Applied Mathematics is offering a Tenure Track
position at the level of Assistant Professor for the research group
Statistics. Tasks and responsibilities of the Assistant Professor include:

- conducting research in the area of (mathematical- and applied) statistics;
- co-supervising PhD students;
-teaching courses for students in bachelor and master programs at TU
Delft; these courses include statistics- as well as basic mathematics
courses like linear algebra and calculus;
- supervising bachelor- and master students in their graduation projects
-participation in our Statistics Helpdesk, where researchers at TU Delft
are supported in the statistical aspects of their research.

The Assistant Professor will play an important role in further
developing the existing education program in the area of statistics. In
addition, the candidate will be active in acquiring and managing
externally funded projects. The teaching load is about 50% of the
working time.
